Game against James Madison added for December 5th, taking the place of the Towson game. So that’ll be two games in two days for the Terps.

The Terps are playing 9-10 guys so back to back is no issue.
I actually think the kids like back to back. They love to play

This will be a road game against the Dukes.
It is good to play in a different building, even with no fans.
The bus ride may suck, but it will be worth it

Brand new stadium here in Harrisonburg for JMU. First Big Ten team to visit in nearly 3 decades. No fans allowed. Sucks.

Damn, yeah... would've been a huge moment for them. 2020 though.

BSL: Terps’ offensive struggles prove costly
The shooting struggles are IMO a direct result of no inside threat from the Terps. Clemson and now Rutgers made no attempts to double down. They pushed out and clogged the passing lanes and contested the outside shots.
I think this is a year long problem.

Gotta be a little concerning that in a year in which the team isn't very good anyway, the freshmen aren't getting much run. Turgeon in the past has had no problem giving freshmen plenty of PT. This year Dockery's pretty much only getting garbage minute. Smart is getting over 10 MPG, which I guess is probably more than I thought he was. The recruiting for the next few years looks OK but nothing stellar. I wonder if we've seen the peak of the program under Turgeon's tenure.

Only reason the '21 class doesn't look great is that Graham reclassified and will be joining the team in January.

I don't follow recruiting all that closely. But 247 has Graham included in their 2020 class and Maryland is ranked 10th in the Big Ten. 8th in the Big Ten so far for 2021. They have Graham rated as the 117th best player nationally. Looks like Rivals has him as no. 107. Wasn't MD routinely getting top 50 and top 100 guys, even during Gary's tenure?
Again - maybe the game has changed a bit since I stopped following recruiting more closely. I'm just not seeing much to be particularly enthused about for the future. Hope I'm wrong.

Turgeon SEEMS like a pretty good dude and somebody I WANT to see succeed. That said, he's been here long enough and I think we've seen enough to be fairly certain what we've seen is what we'll get. I just don't think he can scheme a cohesive and remotely consistent "plus" offense. Virtually every game there's a scoring drought, they consistently struggle to create good shots in crunch time. How many of their late last second wins have been the PG heaving one up from several steps beyond the arc and it just happens to go in? I know the program won't cut bait there anytime soon, but a new mindset would be intriguing to me...

'21 class is solid with and without Graham. Not great.
Exactly. Not saying it's terrible, it's just...more of the same.
I do feel for Turge that he didn't get a chance to make a run with last year's team. Honestly I'm not that optimistic that they would've done much beyond a Sweet 16 but stinks for him that he didn't get a shot at it.
