The next 6-7 week stretch is glorious.

March Madness, OD, Masters, Players championship, NFL Draft, NBA playoffs..just tough to beat that.

The other nice thing is the anticipation of good weather.

Love the fall time but it’s always gloomy in the back of my mind because winter, daylights savings time, etc..is always right behind it.

May:

MLB, Kentucky Derby, NBA Playoffs, and finally nice weather.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of May as well.

In addition to your and Adam's list you have the Indy 500 and NCAA Lacrosse championships on Memorial Day weekend as well.  2 sports that I pay no attention to for the rest of the year but really enjoy those 2 events.

I guess I typically don't notice how bad August is because I typically take a vacation and I'm in a lot of fantasy football leagues, so that's draft season, but my goodness it's weak. If you have a bad baseball team, that ship has sailed a long time ago, and if you have a good team you're probably about ready for the playoffs. And the NFL games don't matter.

Cheers!!

May is very underrated sports wise.

To be fair, i'm not a Football guy really so Sept/October is all Baseball for me, but I certainly get why people would love those months.

Plus the weather as I (and others) mentioned is a huge factor.

The sports combined with the better weather is just glorious. We get the extra hour this Sunday. Of course it's an hour less sleep, but so worth it.

The Lax Final 4 has become a family favorite. Always entertaining. Also, when the O's are good, the Memorial Day game is always fun and is a good time to sort of assess where they are.

Year horrible in-general...  including sports...  but everything going right now, and I'm going to enjoy that.

Right now is pretty great for sports. If the O's weren't rained out, I wouldn't have had enough TV's for all the action, and I have 3.

Next weekend: baseball pennant chases, nfl and cfb, nhl and nba playoffs, golf US open

Ridiculous.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty
