More like to everyone except you, their own.
Will never understand the Palmer worship but to each his own.
You're on a very small island with the Palmer hate.

I don't hate the guy. I loved him as a pitcher but as a broadcaster? Nope. Never liked him. Like I said, I'll never understand it.

I was really hoping Cal's influence would result in the return of Mel Proctor and John Lowenstein!!!
I still miss Brother Low. But he was too honest for Peter.

I bet Adam Jones would be an outstanding color commentator. Just sayin.

I've found Palmer's seemingly perfect memory of his career always enjoyable and he's always spoken with less of filter than McDonald or anyone else doing color commentary which I think was refreshing while watching things like Pedro Severino struggle with the concept of catching

I was flipping channels the other day and wound up on PBS. They were in the middle of a pledge drive (as they always seem to be) and one of the hosts in the MPT studios trying to get people to donate money was Jim Hunter!

The only problem with Jim being "outspoken" is that he immediately becomes apologetic and tries to buffer the initial response. About the only thing I enjoy about his commentary is when he talks about his playing days. I do find that appealing.
