There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Best offensive player in Ravens history not named Ogden?
For the moment.

I'm huge fan of Lewis. That speed and power was unreal. He just beat teams up until they did not want to tackle him. I also thought he had better hands than advertised (they got away from throwing to him).
That said, I think Rice has exceeded him as the best RB in team history.

Jamal single handedly carying the '03 offense still puts him slightly out in front for me. Ray and Joe will pass him soon though.

And he has been a great success off the field as well.

Jamal was a beast, fast and powerful. His "called shot" game against Cleveland was the most amazing performance I have seen from a running back. Had the game been closer and Jamal had stayed in, he would have approached 400 yards.
Looking forward to see Jamal go into the ring of honor on Thursday. Ray RIce is closing in, but as for right now, I agree with Pedro , Jamal is the best offensive player in Ravens history, other than JO.

I always thought so. We lost Jamal and Leon Searcy before either played a down that year. Had those two played, Elvis would probably have been successful. The defense was still the best, so we would have been a tough out.I can't help but wonder if we wouldn't have repeated as Super Bowl Champs if Jamal hadn't blown out his knee.
