[Icterus galbula]

I'm about to drive up to Baltimore, and I'm thinking of downloading an audiobook or two to help pass the time. Anyone have suggestions? Browsing through the iTunes lists, I'm a little disappointed in how much some of them cost, so I'd like to have a good sense that my purchase will be worth it in advance. I like a lot of non-fiction (science, comedy, sports, history, a good biography, etc.) but am also willing to listen to the right novel.

Appreciate any thoughts or experiences with audiobooks.
