I look at that list and it's really crazy the amount of breweries there are now in the state.   Close to 90 on that list with another 25 planning on opening.  I'm not saying they are all great but the explosion in variety is nice!

Maryland Brewers Association held their annual craft beer competition over the summer.  

 

Heavy Seas Pounder Pils won best in show.  This is a solid brew for sure, but to see it win best in show is surprising to me.  On a related note HS stopped producing Winter Storm to put out another variation of IPA.  Ugh

 

I was happy to see Union's Black Wing take gold  in the Ambers, Dark Lagers & Bocks category.

I've really been getting into Mobtown Brewing lately.  A couple of their standouts are their Rye Porter and their new Saison that they put out.  Two great beer styles and two well done beers.

Black Flag just puts out one great NEIPA/Hazy after another, if that's a style you like.

Ha, I happened to find this thread as I'm drinking a Blackwing! It's really good.

 

I was in college in Baltimore when Brewer's Art opened and lived in Mt. Vernon later, so I'm always partial to a Resurrection or an Ozzy (which is called something different now).

I've really been enjoying some of Oliver Brewing Co's beers lately. The Creator Destroyed in particular.

Also this is just reiterating one of the few comments I've added to this thread, but I like everything I've had from Key Brewing, and I've tried just about everything I've seen in any local stores.
