Wes Brown should be the starting running back this week. I've seen enough of Justus Pickett.

Looks like Brandon Ross will get plenty of carries this week as well. Interested to see him.

Just realized that the O's game overlapped, normally I'd watch the Terps over a single baseball game in September but not this year!

You will be able to see the opening kickoff, which is the closest the score will be all game. By first pitch in Fenway, Terps will be down by at least 2 TDs. You won't miss a thing.

True and I will, just care much more about pennant race baseball than a Terps football game that's what I was getting at!

Really good opening series for the defense.

I doubt this is a close game, but I'm hoping for some small victories like that.

Maryland goes from their 12 to the WVU 30. Hills hit and fumbled, the fumble recovered and taken to the house. Terps down 7-0.

I think it was from the MD 22, not the 12... could be wrong though.

Nice looking bootleg and pass there by Hills. Offense looks methodical, but productive early on.

Aside from the fumble, I think Hills has looked pretty good.

Ross not too bad either. Hopefully we've seen the last of Pickett getting significant carries.

A better throw may have hit Dorsey there on the long try on 3rd.

Yahoo says 12, but I think you are right. Good catch, thx.

No problem - it was definitely a solid workman like drive... until the fumble. I've been impressed with the offense so far, even though we're -7 to show for it.

Well, the defense coughed it up like a cheap date there. Two big plays and a TD quickly.

That was scary how quick it was.

For what it's worth, I'd love to see West Virginia contend for a national title. I'm not a fan or anything, but I have some friends who are and I think they're a really fun team to watch. Plus I'm tired of SEC domination and everyone down here worships the SEC.

I'd be OK with it too.

Granted, one of my good friends is an Auburn fan and I've been watching every Auburn game for a few years now and I have to say, SOME of the SEC worship is not unjust. A lot of folks take it too far though. There ARE very good teams not in the SEC.

Oh yeah, I think most of the SEC worship is deserved. I'm just mostly sick of it ;)

And what a throw and catch. Diggs is just awesome.

MD has had the ball for 10 minutes in this half, vs. 2 for WVU. Part of that was their dynamic, fast TD. Another aspect of it is the running game for MD which has produced 37 yards over 10 carries.

Awesome defensive series by the Terps. Playing sound and frustrating WVU.

Maryland recovers, but that was a very poor fumble on the punt return by Diggs. Gotta be more focused than that.
