I just don't see any point for a team like MD even scheduling a Howard.

I get the benefit to Howard, but not for MD. They need to get ready for the Big Ten.It is a payday for Howard and helps them pay for their program.

Not a real complaint just a comment. I've enjoyed seeing the Terps back in action today. They've controlled what they can and are kicking ass.

I largely agree with you Ricker, and these FCS games will go away for the most part soon.
Is a chance to 'play' someone in another uniform, and build some confidence.... but yeah.

Do like that you can get the starters out of the game, go deep into the bench... and get actual game reps for some other guys. Some guys you might need later.

If you are going to play this type of game, this is the way it needs to go. Just beat them down, and feel great about yourself.
Hopefully some fans get excited, and MD pulls a big crowd next week vs. Syracuse.
Still remember Babers kicking MD's ass with Bowling Green.

Ideally you'd like to schedule a better opponent but I am OK with it.
The Terps year in and year out will have one of the toughest schedules in the country, especially with WVU, UVA, Va Tech coming up as OOC opponents. If they wanna play one game against a team that they will disembowel, go for it.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
