Just finished Succession season 1. Very good show. Took some time to get used to the style and the tone but once you're locked in, it's really good.
My top 10 would be:
1. The Wire
2. The Sopranos
3. Game of Thrones
4. True Detective
5. Insecure
6. The Deuce
7. Eastbound and Down
8. Boardwalk Empire
9. Succession
10. Barry
Since shows like Band of Brothers, The Pacific and The Night Of were mini-series, I left them out but if they were eligible they'd each be top 7 for sure.
I never saw shows like Six Feet Under, Deadwood, Veep, etc.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I watched the first 2 episodes when they aired originally, for some reason I didn't stick with it. I love Tim Olyphant though so I will check it out at some point.

Finally finished rewatching Deadwood. It wasn't as good as I recall, but still top 10 worthy. The movie was quite good and a much better conclusion than how the show ended, which wasn't supposed to be a true ending.

Crashing is really good, but unfortunately it got canceled after 3 seasons.

Euphoria was good. Definitely not among HBO's best though.
Gonna try to catch up on Succession before this second season ends.

Just finished season 1 of Euphoria. My wife and sister had been telling me for years to watch it but I always put it off. AMAZING SHOW. I've never really been aware of Zendaya outside of maybe Spider-Man and the 5 mins she was in Dune but she is massively talented. Such a rounded performance. The camerawork, the lighting, the music. All fantastic.
