They announced that it will now be on amazon TV products, as well as Samsung and LG TVs
Thank god. I bought a ROKU last week to make sure we'd have it, and 5 hours later they announce the amazon deal (have those on every TV in the house.

I heard they had tons of opening day problems. Disney said the crashes, etc. were the result of their underestimating how many people would be logged in at the same time. Lots of unhappy subscribers. Of course, they all ranted on twitter, instead of recognizing that these things happen, and the service will adjust accordingly. I wish my life was so effortlessly convenient, that a new TV channel freezing, is worthy of losing my mind over.
I plan to do a chronological sequence of the Marvel movies. Luckily I have access to all 23, between Disney, Netflix, Prime and the few I bought.
Good news! I saw a dog today.

That was always going to happen. As a day one adopter of some of the other streaming services, they all had the same problem. There is no stress test possible for servers to estimate that first day public. It'll even out soon.

Totally agree, not even worth getting upset about.

FYI for anyone that has a Verizon Unlimited plan or 5G Home Internet, you may be able to get Disney+ free for a year.

Just one of the many reasons people suck.

But you bought it. It should work now. How is that even legal?I mean, it’s dumb on their part to not expect things like this but it’s not like you are spending thousands of dollars on it.

Legal?
If you buy a toaster and it comes to you defective, do you think that’s illegal?
Whose life is that empty that if you can’t start watching stuff that you have either already seen or will be able to watch very soon that it’s worth getting so mad over this?

But this isn’t a normal product. It’s not like you have to go stand in line at a store or drive for a while or something like that. You just have to wait until it works, which sounds like happened not long after the launch.
