I would love to see another coach, but I try to be realistic.  Unless Turgeon gets another job, he is going to be here for awhile.

 

I don't blame the boosters, they have written plenty of checks to Maryland.  At some point, enough is enough.

 

My problem with Turgeon is his style and singular approach to every game.  I think, Maryland must be easy to prepare for.

 

One last point, I don't have the hate for Turgeon, that some do.  I just would like to see a different use of the talent Maryland has.

Belmont will score some. Efficient offense. MD will slow them in transition and guard 3 better than many teams they've faced. MD's length should be disruptive.

Offensively MD should be able to score and get to the line.

This game is about what MD team shows up. Up until that Penn State road game, this MD team typically showed up and battled.

If MD comes out ready to play they will win. If you look up and they have 17 points 12 minutes into the half, the wheels might come off and they'll be embarrassed.

It's good for the Terps that a lot of people expect them to lose. Mentally that should help them lock in.

I watched part of the Belmont game, and they look like a good match up for the Terps.  The Terps should win this game.  They will need to do a better job with the turn overs as Belmont over plays the passing lanes.

With Maryland you never know, but they should win this game.

Note to Turg, get someone inside working the foul line extended and reverse the ball.

 

I think Wiggins and Ayala need to be solid here.  More 3's from them and less from Morsell and Sticks.
