What a shame smh

I can say after talking to two coaches on the selection committee they received no nominations at all from most City schools.

Coaches have to be your advocate and too many city coaches dealing with bigger issues to care about stuff like this. I will say, like every year, there are some damn good players on that team. A few we might see in the NFL one day. And BTC will help 10-15 more kids pic up D1 offers by the end of this years season.

My apologies Guru.  To be clear, I was questioning the "criteria".  That link, which is from last year states the criteria.  So I stand corrected.

What division are you speaking of when you say D1 ?

They help through relationships with college coaches. D1 FBS, D1 FCS, D1 Ivy League. All great opportunities to play at next level. Lots of kids sign after their senior season. Don’t get caught up in the hype of the kids that commit and sign early. Rutgers gave close to 400 offers out for 2019 class. They can sign 23. So schools all trying to get 4/5 stars but those kids are limited. Final grades, senior seasons mean a lot to recruiters.

College coaches actually attend the banquet thats held during the Spring Eval Period. So, they can put their eyes on the prospects. In the days following they tend to hit those schools of the prospects that they have interest in
