It's not just about location. It didn't help, but you know, Jones is one of the best fastball hitters in the league, and Reynolds isn't that bad himself. Your margin of error there isn't very big. It's not like Jones took that curveball behind his head very seriously.
That said, pretty good article. I got a kick out of the last line too.
