SI: Seven Storylines Set to Dominate the College Football Offseason

I mentioned this in the Terps transfer thread, but I'd add to that list the advent of the transfer portal this offseason. It sure seems like it has had an impact as far as how many players are exploring their options (along with their current coaches no longer being allowed to restrict what school they can transfer to).
Also, it seems like there are a lot more players getting their degrees after just 3 years on campus. I'm sure that's intentional on their part just to open up opportunities for themselves for their last 1-2 seasons of eligibility. I would think their ability to earn their degree that quickly can be directly linked to the other trend we see a lot of right now; that being that more players choose to get an early jump on college by leaving high school and enrolling in the spring before their freshman year.
