InsideMDSports: Maryland the logical destination for high profile transfer

And with that, Anoma's name is in the portal. All the dots would seem to connect him to UM. Article says his grandmother had heart surgery last Dec, so that might even open the possibility of a waiver to be eligible immediately (assuming he does in fact decide to attend UM).

Sounds like Anoma could come with baggage. Reading multiple reports that he was suspended from the team a couple weeks ago. One said "kicked off the team". Not sure for what though.

Actually the reports state he was suspended by the university, not the football team. So it sounds like something more than just being in Nick Saban's doghouse.

CB Ken Montgomery has put his name in the transfer portal. According to a statement he made via UM, he intends to transfer somewhere closer to home (Tampa).

Bruce Feldman (FOX Sports) tweets that Anoma has been admitted to Houston.

Haven't seen him land anywhere. Still surprised, as he figured to start.

McDonough's Dejuan Ellis...

Will have 3 years of eligibility remaining beginning in 2020.

With Tino Ellis and Marcus Lewis both graduating after this season, CB would seem to be the most natural fit for him positionally.

I would say the slot position, to take advantage of his speed, particularly in jet sweep plays.  But I see according to the article Maryland is thinking CB.
