If they do that, they'd have to win 3 of their remaining games including WVU and the ACC schedule to reach a bowl game. If they don't, I think getting to a bowl game will be difficult.

Looking forward, Wake Forest looks like a winnable game (they barely beat Liberty). The rest of them will depend on how quickly the offense improves. Hills and the receivers need to become comfortable with each other rather quickly, and we need better performances out of Pickett and the rest of the TB crew.
UNC and Virginia did what was expected of them (trashing an FCS opponent). BC put up a ton of passing yards against Miami, which is worrisome. Not sure what to think of GT (didn't see the game last night), but since their strength is running, Maryland may be able to give them a hard time. Not sure how to evaluate NCSU yet.

UMass is now a I-A school (at least in name, if not in talent yet), and both they and Villanova are/were I-AA powers. Maryland couldn't do anything against a mid-level I-AA school. The next two games in theory should be winnable games. If they can go 3-0 heading into WVU that's big. I tend to discount their next two opponents blowouts of FCS competitions, yes I know we couldn't do the same.
If they do that, they'd have to win 3 of their remaining games including WVU and the ACC schedule to reach a bowl game. If they don't, I think getting to a bowl game will be difficult.

A bowl game is our goal, so we need to win four of these. I'll say Wake at home, @UVA, @BC, UNC if I had to pick the most winnable. Good chance this isn't the year for that but I don't think it's so out of the cards.9/22 @ West Virginia: The Mountaineers are 2-0, beating JMU 42-12.

I think that NC State is also a potential upset. While I don't expect Maryland to beat Georgia Tech, if the Terps front seven stifles Tech's running game it might be at least interesting.A bowl game is our goal, so we need to win four of these. None of the four you mentioned will be easy wins (nothing really is with a true freshman at QB) but I think UVA might be somewhat easier if they continue to struggle. Their victory over PSU should have been a loss (save for PSU's struggles kicking the ball), and they got smashed by GT.
