How about replacing Redding with the guy he replaced. I think the Ravens need a DL veteran.
Edwards for the vet minimum sounds right to me.

Another possibility but I would prefer Edwards, for familiarity purposes. Maybe slightly better at getting to the QB.

Edwards signed with Panthers.

Yea , I saw that too. Historically the Ravens usually add a vet after week 1. Unless the new CBA changed, adding after the first week means the player is not guaranteed a full years pay.

I actually feel pretty good about the DL situation. Much more worried about our OLB rushing and setting the edge.

Vikings cut Sage Rosenfels and Chris Carr. I think that the Ravens should re-sign Carr. Rosenfels could be an interesting move, too.

I don't think we will be signing either. they are content with 2 QB and i would rather have Gorrer than Carr.

I don't see the Ravens adding anymore soon. They seem content. I'm still a little upset at the Gorrer cut. I really liked him as a corner.

I'm a lot more worried about how we're getting to the QB this year than I am how we'll be doing covering guys down field. Yeah as a long term move it isn't great that we had to cut Gorrer, but I think the Suggs injury forced the Ravens to worry more about LB/pass rushing DL than they wanted to.
