A lot of 4-man rushes that still got some pressure. 3-man rushes late in the game were even halfway decent. Not until they only rushed 2 and dropped someone to spy did he really have consistent time, but wasn't able to do too much damage against the 8 in coverage.

Of course there is not going to be that type of ending. A kid died and yes the training staff, the football program and University is responsible. But he deserves better than the toxic culture BS that'll set his career way back and set the program back even worse
He only deserves better if it isn't true.

I won't lose a minute of sleep if he never coaches again. If the reports are all legit, then he shouldn't ever be again trusted to lead young men.
See, this is what I didn't want to be talking about today. Fuck Durkin and what he's done to the University and the program. He's not welcome any more.

I thought they did a good job of integrating both quarterbacks. Generally I hate the idea of a multi-QB system, but it worked pretty well today.

Im not alumni but I support the letter the Champions Club sent out recently. Fuck the agenda driven outsiders trying to railroad this football program. All the while a coach like Meyer and program like Oh St get to walk away essentially scot free. Over and over and over againI won't lose a minute of sleep if he never coaches again. If the reports are all legit, then he shouldn't ever be again trusted to lead young men.

That's like saying someone in Maryland shouldn't get convicted of murder because OJ got off.

Unless there is a Duke lacrosse type ending to the story here, fuck him.
I'm really surprised to see you react this way about Durkin. First, I'll throw in the 2018 PC disclaimer: Of course, I feel awful about Jordan McNair and wish his family the best as they deal with this insane tragedy.
That said, what we have against Durkin is an injury situation that seems to have clearly been misdiagnosed/mis-observed, and a railroad article written by Dinich who has always had it out for MD.
Believe me, if Durkin genuinely acts like the article portrays him, I agree, fuck him. But I'm sure as hell not taking that article as the end all be all fact. There are too many kids on his side, too many important donors/regents who are a lot closer to the program/practice environment than we are on his side. Don't you think kids talk on social media, etc? If he was such an awful person, no one would want to play for him. Instead, he recruits substantially over his head as far as the current state of MD football is concerned.
Remember the KVV Ray Rice article in 2014? With all due respect to KVV, I think he's an exceptional writer and talent, that entire article was 100% complete BS. People were speculating at the time that Bisciotti would have to sell the team, etc etc. It was bullshit, led by friends of Ray Rice that was somehow presented as facts. Yet we all wanted to run with it.
Unfortunately we live in a social media society where one article, one accusation, etc and we want to railroad someone and ruin their lives/careers. Let's just not jump to conclusions on this one.

But it works. People read one tweet or hear one accusation and just pounce. Most from behind their keyboards. Its not even that Durkin and his staff dont yell at, or "motivate" in certain degrading ways. We all know that stuff happens everywhere at every level. God that doesnt mean an environment is toxic. It just do disheartening how things can be twisted and successfully framed this day and age. Everything is black and white.I'm really surprised to see you react this way about Durkin.
