Michigan took down ND (the same ND that beat Denver a few weeks ago) yesterday 13-12. This is huge, Wolverines first win over a top 5 program and it happen on the road no less. Pretty impressive how far the program has come in a few short years.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

#1 Albany competes in the only game of the day tonight as they take on #19 Harvard at 7PM.
Look for Connor Fields to continue his run towards a record breaking career. Fields has 57 points so far this season and needs only 65 more to tie former teammate Lyle Thompson to break his NCAA record of 400.

Any of you stat buffs out there....just discovered this site, which is a really interesting breakdown of D1, D2 and D3 in terms of offensive and defensive efficiency. Each team is broken down into plenty of categories as well as individual players for D1 men and women.

UMBC takes down #1 Albany tonight, however, Connor Fields did not play in the game.
That shouldn't have mattered. Albany won 19 of 21 faceoffs, that's obscene! Fields may be a tewwarraton finalist but the Danes have enough firepower that it shouldn't have effected the outcome against UMBC

MLL Draft was last night. Linked below is the summary of picks. Trevor Baptiste went number 1 overall. Very interesting to see a face-off guy go number one but it shows the necessity of having a good face-off man and giving your offense the opportunity to have the ball.
