How come 3 of those 4 games are in the wrong place? They'd have bigger crowds if they had them in the right place, wouldn't they?

Not necessarily. Plus this way it doesn't count as a home game. So the winner gets more credit than winning at home and the loser doesn't risk a home loss.

A stadium that holds 70-some thousand in the wrong place can't accommodate the 100+ thousand that would show up in the right place...

Forget the Big 10 East, those teams will beat up on each other again. Michigan at 10/1 is laughable. It will be Alabama vs Clemson I think.

USC at 40/1 and Washington at 30/1 aren't bad bets. The PAC 12 was bad this year, but I think one of those teams will win the conference and if they can get into the playoff, at that point you can hedge.

Michigan has road games next season at Notre Dame, plus at MSU and OSU, who have both owned them in recent years. Then they face Wisconsin, at Northwestern and Nebraska in the West Division. Oh, and PSU will still be tough. No way they get through all that with one loss or less. But that doesn't stop the Harbaugh Hype train from rolling right along.

ESPN updated their Way-Too-Early rankings following the early declaration deadline for the NFL Draft. Clemson replaced Alabama as #1, with the Tide dropping to 2nd. Stanford moved up from #18 to #12, presumably just because Bryce Love is staying.
