Did not realize that factual, opposing opinions were not welcomed here. I have not violated any of your rules. Again, simply stated facts. Thanks and take care.

Your previous quote to Bob was, "Not antagonizing. Simply recognizing there are Dan Duquette & Peter Angelos Apologists (such as yourself)."

That's not following our very limited rules.

Opposing opinions are all over the place here.  You haven't said anything perspective wise which hasn't been said a million times before.

It's how you are saying it.

I know coming to a new board is a change.  It's learning new people.  Understanding where they are being sarcastic, what they think, etc.

I want you to know, we are really trying to be welcoming.
We want you here.

Meet us 1/2 way.

Yes, you have, by continually insulting members of this forum. None of this needs to be explained to you again.

Again, none of that was done intentionally. Just stating facts, which I guess folks have a difficult time comprehending. Thank you so much for your time.

Im still waiting for your list of facts. And don't worry, I don't want them either. It's very obvious that you have no intention of having intelligent conversations about this.

I do appreciate that you at least acknowledge how bad PA is although I can't figure out how you can say that but then say what you do about DD.

Again, most or all of us want DD gone and believe he hasn't done a great job but ownership is such a large issue that it's hard to pin things on him the way you have.

Even though most fans agree Duquette is an incompetent buffoon, it really shows you how sad & pathetic the organization is by sending him out for face time with the media & announcing the “new direction” for the franchise.

Newsflash: he probably had nothing to do with the trades & he hopefully has nothing to do with the team’s new direction.

Andrew Friedman said the Dodgers dealt with Duquette directly in this interview.  And he can add this trade to his legacy and it has the chance to bear more fruit than even the Bedard deal.

If you look at this deal, it is more in the line of what Duquette values in players.  It also has an international flavor, especially with Diaz and Kremer who is Israeli-American and Duquette of course built the Israel Baseball League.

Now it appears that the market is ripe for a bidding war for Britton too, so the Orioles should be able to do very well there.

ROFL. Does anyone doubt that if it were to come out DD was just the mouthpiece for this trade and Brady was the one who was calling the shots that Mr French would have a near, if not complete, 180 view of this trade.

No but Diaz is a Cuban defector, and Duquette has mentioned Kremer pitching in the WBC for Israel.

That's like Nick Markakis playing for Greece in the Olympics. Doesn't mean he's from Athens.

Well, Nick is from Athens, so confusing example. But thats a way different Athens.

Trea logic.

Im failing to understand the point anyway. Weve never traded for international players before? We havent signed international players during DDs tenure? (Urutia, Alvarez, Miranda, Kim, the Korean guy who was so bad he felt bad and gave us money back to go home.)

There was a Canadian in this deal. Curious why he doesn't rate as a foreign player and yet some dude from California does.

I think Matusz ruined Matusz. After his first year when he won 10 games, he had problems with velocity. He went to a snap release and lost his change up.

I really don't know anyone else who was ruined.

I wish whoever is editing my posts would quit doing it.  The result is that the meaning of my post is altered.

If you think my posts somehow break board rules ("board rules"...ha ha), then simply nuke everything I said in the post and replace it with a comment that you have deleted it, along with the reason why.  That would be more direct and far less manipulative.
