Anyone ever do this? Just saw a segment on ESPN. Looks awesome and horrible all at once. Chug a beer and run a quarter mile. Do it three more times. There's a championship and everything. Someone did it in under 5 minutes. Amazing.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Never have. I like combining two competitions into one though. Seth probably knows, but I think Chapel Hill does something like a 5 mile race where after each mile is a competitive eating challenge. Like run a mile, eat 50 wings, run another mile, eat a 2 pound pork BBQ sandwich, repeat, repeat, repeat. Could be wrong on the details, but thats the idea. Might be a relay event too.

Chess Boxing is another combination that is intriguing. Regular boxing match, but in between rounds they play chess. Win by knockout, or checkmate. Fascinating.

Either they stole that from Elementary or else Elementary stole it from them...

The first World Championship was in 2006.

In this match 2008 is a 19 y/o math student from "The Russian College for Space Travel" vs. a Berlin Policeman and world champ chess boxer. In just three years the World Championship has evolved into being held in front of 1,000 people in an old locomotive repair shop.
