Matching up how Wilson speaks with how he plays is pretty crazy. You expect a Fulton Reed type demeanor and vocabulary, but it's more like Adam Banks.

“We have a shot at a wild card right now. But it is not a probability that we're going to win a wild card.” -2022 Trade Deadline

"It's liftoff from here" - after selling on 2022

"We're on a slight upward arc" - Winter Meetings 2022

"I think it's really hard to sit there and chart a course and say, 'We're likely to win the division.'" - Winter Meetings 2022

Here's a little article about Trotz, nothing new there. But at then end there's a bit of info on some of the players injuries from the playoffs.

Orpik had to have the tip of his left pinkie finger stitched back on after a slash from Vegas' Erik Haula late in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. The 37-year-old defenseman also expects to have a hand injury from the first round checked out Friday. ... Center Nicklas Backstrom revealed he had two fractures in his right index finger from a Justin Schultz slap shot in Game 5 of the second round that caused him to miss four games. ... Center Evgeny Kuznetsov injured his left shoulder in Game 2 of the Final on a hit from Brayden McNabb. ... Winger Andre Burakovsky broke his right thumb in the first round and returned during the conference finals

Told you Nick's was a broken finger. They love to use "upper body injuries" but I know from playing baseball how disruptive something small like even a broken knuckle can have on your grip and bat, and it's even worse in hockey. We all remember the infamous "wrist test" Adam Banks had to take in order to play in the championship game against the Hawks.
