I'm free any evening this week if we wanted to do a last-minute draft.

I can turn it over to Mack and bow out, I can't do tonight, just don't really have time for it this season. That means one other has to go to keep it balanced, just realized Weber was gone last year, so I guess Chris if you want out, there's your out too.

Mack, gave you the reigns, I can either delete the team which will just turn all my players into the available draft pool, or you can just assign the team to someone new to take over and remove me from it and they can have my keepers. I didn't want to just delete and run until I gave you the option though.

I'm out of town tomorrow through Sunday. I could do a draft tonight but would like to know sooner rather than later.

I removed Jeremy and Stoner from the league and set the draft time for tonight at 8pm.  I can't set a keeper deadline as a time today and do the draft today.  So we have three options:

 

1)  Everyone post or PM me your 3 keepers before 7pm and I'll manually enter them in manually

2)  Screw keepers, convert to a 10-team single-season league

3)  Screw the whole thing

 

Everyone let me know your preferences ASAP.

I'll go with #2 because that's probably the easiest for everyone at this point. Happy to do #1 if that's the majority's preference though.

Send me your keepers in this thread just in case.  If we get everybody by 7pm (I gotta enter them by then) we'll continue the keeper league.  If not, we'll convert to a new league with random draft order.

I say screw the keepers (mine sucked going into last year anyway) and just run a regular draft after Thursday but before Sunday and retro in Week 1 points...

 

I'm in either way though and will designate keepers if that's the route we go.

Also with two teams cutting all their players, that's a pretty distinct advantage for early pick keeper teams, another reason to probably ditch and go to no-keeper or keeper reset on the league.

Submit keepers and we'll see if we get enough.  I'd much rather prefer to draft tonight either way, than to already know the results from the kickoff game tomorrow night.

 

Two teams kicking everyone back will be a bit of an advantage fr early drafting teams, but those were the worst teams last year so they deserve an advantage to try and even things up.  Also this is a strong rookie class as well, so the whole 1st round should be pretty solid.  Double also, the keepers getting thrown back by Stoner and Jeremy aren't anything special.  Jordan Howard is a clear keeper, but the rest are just ok guys that would only be borderline keepers anyways like Hilton, Rodgers, and Cooper.

Gotcha, agreed. So it's still reverse order of last year's finish on the draft? Given the 3 teams that finished worse than me last year are all still in I still say no keepers . 

 

I'd prefer tonight as well.

I submitted my keepers on Yahoo already, but for the record: Luck, OBJ, Gordon.

 

Obviously with that haul I'd prefer to keep them via option #1. I'm good to draft tonight.
