Suspension aside, Veloz is having a pretty solid season at the plate in his first year stateside. The 18 year old is hitting .270/.321/.450 (.771 OPS) with 8 doubles, 2 triples, 2 HR, 15 RBI, 5/26 K/BB.

Finished the GCL season hitting .281/.338/.463 (.801) with 9 doubles, 2 triples, 3 HR, 18 RBI over 121 AB
Promoted to Aberdeen for the last week and a half of their season: .219/.242/.281 (.524) with 2 doubles and an RBI over 32 AB.
