Btw, the competitive balance in MLB this season is arguably worse than in the NBA, but if course the difference is that once the playoffs start, anything can happen.

As is their recent custom, the NBA released their Christmas Day game schedule early. They also released the schedule for nationally broadcast games during opening week. Note that the season is starting a week earlier, as the NBA wants to allow more rest for players between games and minimize back-to-back games.
