Cavs are the front runners to land Paul George. And the front runners to land Carmelo Anthony. Man, it must suck to be about 25 other teams in the league. On the other hand, you can't blame the other teams not named the Cavs for giving up anything substantial just to finish maybe 3rd in the East. 

 

I bet Melo and LeBron wouldn't be able to co-exist though and if it did happen it would open the door for someone else to come out of the East. LeBron can distribute, but adding Melo means less shots for LeBron, meaning less points the Cavs score, meaning LeBron stops distributing, meaning Melo gets mad, meaning drama drama drama.

I think you're projecting here Mike. If it doesn't work it will be for other basketball reasons, not drama or scoring.

Dont forget that Melo has been the top dog the last couple of Olympics. His peers respect him.
