This won't get a ton of attention, but it should be noted. She did a lot of good in her return to the O's, but it is her original stint with the O's which should be really celebrated.
I think you can easily argue that she had a tremendous impact in improving the City of Baltimore for the better, and she should be celebrated by Charm City.

I would assume they are going to revamp Chavez Revine and want her at the head of that.

She probably just moves to wherever she is needed/wanted. She got the Statue Park project started and developed the bar above the batter's eye at OPACY.

Clancy the beer man could decide to get a different job, and people would blame it on Angelos, so for things like this they should be ignored completely. She's bounced around from team-to-team, project-to-project. I know some are already in *Blame Angelos* mode on this, but I'm not sure how much more she can do with OPACY at this point. Like Chris said, her most important contribution was with how OPACY was built, but deserves kudos for her latest stint. I'm sure she'll do great things in LA with the new ownership group there.
LA is at the point where they want the best and can afford to pay for it, and Smith is the best around at her job. It definitely makes me want to start planning for a trip to Dodger Stadium in about three or four years.

My point is the Angelos blame goes too far sometimes. I got no problems if you want to hold him accountable for the results on the field. Totally agree with you on Clancy taking another job.Clancy the beer man could decide to get a different job, and people would blame it on Angelos, so for things like this they should be ignored completely.
