Every year I take my mom to a baseball game.
It's not the most expensive gift, and doesn't require a ton of effort on my part, but I know how much it means to her

Best gift I ever got was a Magellan GPS from my wife (back when GPS's were a "thing"). It helped so damn much. I've gotten great, more expensive gifts, but this was so damn useful, because I have no sense of direction.
Best gift I ever gave what a "just because" trip to Cancun for my wife, who had been going through some hard stuff (putting up with me is hard enough!), and deserved a break.

Pretty excited for my grandfather's gift this year.
Got him a simple personalized flask set, just with a "Pop" engraving. A few months ago, my cousin's wedding had only beer and wine and he was so disappointed (a happy disappointed but nonetheless funny). He's a big whiskey guy (and gin, and rum, and anything really he's Irish) so he'll get a big kick out of the gift.
