Looking forward to Sunday.

Win, get healthier during the bye.... followed by the home division games vs. Pittsburgh, and Cleveland.
Still time to push towards the playoffs...  but absolutely have to beat the Jets first.

As noted in other threads. Geno Smith starting at QB for NY.

Joe with a sore shoulder. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the week goes. Probably won't practice.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Seriously, what's up with Stanley... here was the note on Rotoworld from Friday:

Ravens LT Ronnie Stanley (foot) is listed as questionable for Week 7.
Stanley practiced fully and will start after missing the last three games. His return comes at a good time with Joe Flacco (questionable, shoulder) at less than 100 percent. The Ravens will be without RG Marshal Yanda (doubtful, shoulder) against the Jets. Oct 21 - 5:14 PM

I bet the Ravens think they can cake walk the Jets, have the bye week, get back to 100% for the Steelers game in 2 weeks. Rather than risk re-aggravating injury in the Jets game.

But if you are practicing, play. Have they specifically said what it is with Stanley? Not just foot, ankle. But specifics. IIRC, Ogden had turf toe and was questionable for a long time without suiting up, and ended up retiring.

Suggs injury is probably worse than they are letting on too.

Very odd to practice fully and then not play. Something must have cropped up with Stanley.

If he cant make it into the lineup after the bye, I think there is a strong possibility he lands on IR

Scary inactives list, but no excuses today. Optimism is low already, but would crater with a loss. Win or we have no hope of anything more than 6 wins.

Finish with 5 or 6 wins and Harbaugh's job is in jeopardy.

Is there any basis for this comment besides speculation? Assuming you are talking about Stanley.

No just speculation, but foot injuries that take this long are often season ending. Of course they are not being very informative.

Could also be that Lewis and Urschel have played well, so they would rather give Stanley time.

Unless he did something to it in practice that hasn't been reported, he wouldn't have practiced for 2 straight weeks if he was in danger of IR

Well Lewis has been awful, but maybe Stanley just didnt look 100% and they didnt want to risk it. That is my hope at least.

I'd be pretty disappointed with the decision making if they are sitting people who are not 100% but healthy enough to play because they think the Jets will be a pushover. They don't have the margin for error nor the recent track record to make that sort of a choice, IMO.

Ravens arguably playing without 6 of their 7 most important players. Could make an argument for Jimmy, but man the talent level is depleted right now.
