Good episode. It definitely got dark, quick. Quite the Father's Day special.

It's definitely gotten better as the season goes on. Can't believe next week is it, feels like there's so much more to wrap up this season.
Has it already been renewed?
Yeah it got renewed fairly quickly.
No idea what season 3 is gonna be.

I'm all for a deep and complicated narrative, but there comes a time where it's confusing intentionally to be confusing.
Finale was just OK.

Really liked the post credits scene and the way they set up season 3 tho.

Totally agree. Yeah, I"m probably more confused than ever. Too many time hops, and too many mind fucks on Bernard...what is even "real" at this point? LOL!

I just binged season 2. The internal logic of the finale makes complete sense to me, and the jumpy/messy nature of the narrative connects to the disordered nature of Bernard's scrambled memories. Having watched too much TV/Movies, I really appreciate the ambition of telling a story in a non-linear/chronological fashion. It's nice to follow along without already knowing exactly how things will end every now and then.
The one piece that didn't make sense to me (besides the post-credits scene which could mean a billion different things), is why Dolores would bring back Bernard, knowing that he will attempt to foil her efforts. Like, she's convinced that her way is the only way, so if you don't believe in Bernard's way, why bring him back? How does him trying to thwart her help host-kind survive?

I think season 2 is underrated despite not ending great. Some great episodes in there.

As someone who has tried to defend the coherency of the plot in previous seasons, I have no idea what the heck is going on right now.
That cover they did of The Weeknd's Wicked Game this week was sick though.

Deadline: Westworld Cancelled After Four Seasons
That show lost me about halfway through the second season. The first season was outstanding tho.

I honestly don't think the fifth season would've wrapped it up well. The fourth season was such trash. I loved season 1, but it couldn't sustain.
