It's going to be miserable on Saturday. Lots of rain.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Bet on the horse that does well in the shit.  Not sure if that's Nyquist or not but the weather may cost him a shot at the Triple Crown.

The "count on sunshine Saturday" joke writes itself.

Someone placed an $80,000 bet on the 11 horse, Stradivari, making him the favorite.

The fix is in.

I like the #2 horse, Uncle Lino, at 35-1 to figure into the top three.

FWIW, Lino won his last race and posted a time of 1:40.82 on a 1 1/16th mile run. Add the extra 1/8th of a mile for Preakness distance, and it could have been 1:52.68. That would be a Preakness 1 3/16 mile record (Secretariat, 1:53.0).

Also, he came from the outside post position in that one, fast start to get to the front and the rail, and never let up. Even held off a late charge, wasn't out of gas from the fast start. Should be even easier for him to start near the rail today.

No idea if he's a mudder. Just looks like he must be fast.

I know Seth is probably busy as all hell today, but I'd be curious if he thinks this means anything.

I have too much free time today.
