Valentine misses... and that's the best MD can get off?  Ugh. Do like that he went to the rim. But damn.

There's Stone again. Not boxing anyone out. Big lazy bum. Melo did exactly what he should have.

Turgeon made good adjustments there for the 2nd half. Just dug too big a hole in the first and we, at times, played our stubborn, stupid, undisciplined ball.

Lemme get two claps and a Ric Flair

Trimble is worthless

Champion caliber talent but this team is too inconsistent.

The refs aren't calling a foul on a final drive unless it's blatant.

Need to shoot there

Hoping Trimble leaves. I don't want him on the team anymore. If we had even an average PG today we win.

Go Purdue.

Ugh. It's not that it's easy to beat the #2 team in the country. But it's the fact that you could have if you were not lazy and undisciplined.

I hope they all leave except Carter. And Carter isn't even great. Not a good defender, but a big guy that can drain 3s is valuable.

Seth Davis is dead on in his analysis in the post game.

2-15, two assists.

Big 10 preseason player of the year.

Can't make this shit up.

About Melo. 2-15 from the floor, 1-7 from 3pt land.

Basically that it's ok for him to have a bad shooting night, but a good PG needs to dish the ball out more. Basically the 2 assists are worse than the 2-15 shooting.

I agree. If you can't shoot, do something else to help the team. Set up other guys for shots.

A shoot-first guard who can't shoot doesn't sound like someone the NBA will want to draft.

Wondering if Melo just needs some more time off and/or some more time in the gym.  Has a week off and was great Friday night.  Has to play again the next day and everything is short.  Almost all of his misses down the stretch of the season were short.

Probably both. If the book on him is he gets fatigued from the rigors of a college basketball season, no way a pro team drafts him. If he comes back, I want to hear that he's been a gym rat from April through October. Turge commented before the Nebraska game that Melo had been "tired" but this week is "the best he's felt all year". Then one game later he's weak and tired again.

UCONN played 4 OTs then beat the 1 seed, Temple, by 15. But Melo is tired. I question his work ethic.
