Just wanted to give the head's up...

Brooks Robinson, Earl Weaver, Cal Ripken, Eddie Murray all in attendance.

Also of note: Brady Anderson, Buck Showalter, and a bunch of O's (Jones, Gonzalez, Johnson, Patton, few others).

It didn't come up for me at first, but I found it. Thanks for the heads up.

It's absolutely soul crushing still to hear and see Palmer talking about Flanny.

I think it is terrific that Palmer remembers his friend on a special day for him. Good for 22.

Yes, he told some great Flanny stories, very touching stuff. Palmer's whole theme was how easy it was to be "great" with so much greatness around him. Very well done, very humble from Mr. palmer. Fantastic ceremony.

Yes, Jim at times can be full of himself but his speech was genuine and humble. I revisited Jim;s stats the other night. He was clearly one of the best of all time. I really wanted to be there today, but have something this afternoon that prevented that. Flipped tickets with a friend and went last night. Talk about bad trades.

I heard that this was the best part of his great speech, but was disappointed that I wasn't able to find it. Anyone else wondering why MASN edited out these Flanny stories from the speech available online? Is this an Angelos censorship situation or am I reading too much into this?

I think your reading too much into it. The pregame show yesterday was all about Palmer and the speech and it included all the Flanny stories.

Fair enough. Just was curious.

Also in fairness, Palmer and Lou Angelos really spoke for a long time. There was really nothing questionable that Palmer said I think that they would intentionally edit out.
