Minnesota really building something up there.
Fun team to watch.

Should the NBA do away with the must play a year in college rule?
I mean Ben Simmons is a prime example of guy who wasted LSU's time because bigger things were coming down the pike.
I'm pretty sure LSU was happy to have Simmons. If anyone's time was wasted, it was his.
I don't like forcing the players to college/overseas, so I'd support getting rid of the rule.

Two years away from possibly being really good.

Yea, I agree. Playoff team next year.
They're trying to move Dunn for Jimmy Butler it says on the crawl..

No HS kid is ready to enter the league
Not really true as we've seen, but even if it is in many cases, that doesn't mean they should go to college. They can go pro and develop their game just like baseball and hockey athletes do.

Defintely agree. From a fans standpoint, he gave the fans there a false sense of hope.
But yeah, he wasted his time too. He's a freak injury away from wishing he knew how to do anything else.

Realistically that's not going to happen. They'd have to change the whole system. No team is going to spend the money or waste the years on a rookie deal sending a HS kid to a development league for 2 years

You are right that that's a big roadblock, but other leagues have figured it out.

Woah Oklahoma City has traded Serge Ibaka to the Orlando Magic, league sources told @TheVertical.
Well if Orlando does in fact re-sign Howard they'll have defense at least.

Papagiannis was Nickens teammate in HS and was at one time linked to Maryland. Goes way ahead of Stone.
Diamond Stone is in this draft???

OKC dealing Ibaka is the potential beginning of a complete rebuild.
Maybe, but with Adams and Kanter, plus Durant is he stays, they didn't really need Ibaka, and getting Oladipo and Sabonis helps the team.

Like Jalen enough but he's useless on this broadcast. Really don't think any of them are good.

Really like the trade for OKC.
Like Jalen enough but he's useless on this broadcast. Really don't like any of them.
They need more Mel Kiper types, or at least one. None of these guys treat the draft as anything close to their primary gig.
