Lol. Let me let you in on a little secret. The Celtics didn't literally get a bye either. Now you know and knowing is half the battle.

Sure they did... usually with either the Lakers or the Hawks getting one too...

Again this is simply wrong. The top teams got BYEs as six teams total made the playoffs.

I knew that.To elaborate,  I meant all the way to the Finals.

I'll admit I  completely forgot about the Mavs and Bulls in the last decade losing as #1s. Which is embarrassing on my part.

Somewhat surprised to see Wilt check in at #5.

This series of tidbits is crazy:

Did you know?
Chamberlain had 118 50-point games, 87 more than any other player. He scored at least 60 points 32 times; all other players in NBA history have combined to do that 28 times. He also had a streak of 186 straight games in which he pulled down 15 rebounds and is the only player to ever lead the NBA in rebounds and assists. -- ESPN Stats & Info

THAT is how you dominate a league with inferior competition.

Magic 4th and LeBron 3rd

This is somewhat surprising, considering the titles and the fact that LeBron's book isn't complete yet, but it just goes to show how much we should appreciate being able to watch one of the all time greats in his prime.

And as expected, Kareem is 2nd leaving MJ as the GOAT.

LBJ at #3 is almost as bad as having Cerrano and Weber in the Top 3 of a best BSLers list.

I argued for Lebron over Magic a couple of years ago so obviously I'm good with that, although I'm surprised to see this panel agree.

Jalen and Wilbon picked Kobe over LeBron. Ring worship without proper consideration for situations.

Slurping Russell's 11 rings made me sick. Zero context there. Zero.

And if one isn't going to put the rings in context and values rings tremendously, then why not have Russell number one?

You really think Kobe was better than LeBron?

I wouldn't have LBJ ahead of Kobe now. Not ahead of Duncan. Not ahead of Shaq. Maybe others. We will see once his career is over.

Ok, who would you draft between Kobe and Lebron? You get the player coming out of high school and you can keep him indefinitely.
