ESPN: NFL Concludes Manning didn't use HGH, any other PED's

League will still interview Julius Peppers, Clay Matthews, James Harrison, and free agent Mike Neal on the first days of training camps. They were also mentioned in the Al-Jazeera report.
Side note: IMO, I've thought for years Harrison was an easy pick for abusing performance enhancing drugs. He goes from undrafted, to cut by the Steelers, then cut by the Ravens, in the glory days of the Ravens defense and scouting and development where they would not have mis-scouted an All-Pro player. He ends up playing in NFL Europe. Then one day...All-Pros, Pro Bowls, Defensive Player of the Year...the same year he flies off the handle and commit domestic abuse (charges were dropped)? Harrison, clean, I don't buy it. Complete unknown becomes ill-tempered hot head, poses in magazines with handguns and jacked like Lattimer in "The Program". Now he's still going at age 38? If it smells like a rat and it looks like a rat......
I know in rare cases there are players that come from no where, to greatness, like Kurt Warner. But you can probably learn to be more accurate of a passer by sharing a camp with Brett Favre. Then luck box your way into being surrounded by immensely talented players (Faulk, Holt, Bruce, Fitzgerald, Boldin). Harrison's job is to be faster and stronger than the guy trying to block him.
I don't expect anything to come down on these guys. Seems like it's common place for some type of performance enhancers to be used, and a blind eye turned since they don't blood test in the NFL. But Harrison 100% checks all the boxes of a user.

None of these guys were clean. Just like the majority of NFL players

Agree. I would imagine that PED abuse is overwhelmingly rampant in the NFL. Nobody cares because the records don't mean anything, which is the only reason anybody cares in baseball.
