Turgeon has to find minutes for Dodd, Ceko, Nickens, Brantley, and Ram  (and frankly I'd even use Bender for 3-5 minutes a game) and those guys (particularly Nickens) have to provide more.

 

Issue with Bender is this team has enough offense, so apparently Turgeon wants his bench to play great D as evidenced by Ram over Brantley and Bender disappearing.

I think at this point Turgeon wants to use 7-8 guys only... understandable at some level. I'd rather go 10-11... get a few minutes from everyone. Maybe not practical.
