There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Thank god the season ends next weekend. Then we'll actually have something worth paying attention too (i.e. the next coach, his staff, and who is in the 2016 freshman class).

MD down 19 with 4:21 left.
The lack of discipline from MD is brutal. Some of that is just that it's a lost year... things snowballed. The team generally played hard under Locks I think, but they didn't play any smarter.
There is some talent on the roster, I do believe that. Even average QB play would make a big difference.
Just depth chart wise, the O-line next year looks like it can be / should be 'good', at-least not a weakness.
If MD got lucky and Ngakoue doesnt go pro... the pass rush will be good. MD has to find ways to be more physical on both sides.
It's hard to imagine the Secondary improving, even if Likely returns. There is a shortage of usable bodies. The best case scenario is that an improved Front 7 helps them. Some of the WRs should be moved over, starting with Etta-Tawo.
I hope MD has identified who they want as the next HC, and is ready to present an offer after next week. The new HC needs to get in, and get started asap. A ton of work to be done just between now and the Spring.
OT: Nothing dumber in sports to cuts to cheerleaders 'cheering' when their team is down by some huge score with little time left lol.

Cockerille with the lefty sidearm is not something you ever see. Amazing he was part of that highly regarded Elite 11 passing camp. Does have a little zip, but takes him forever to get rid of it.
Was 21-3... so 44-7 run to end the game from Indiana (53 seconds left, MD ball).

No doubt this is one of the sloppiest teams I've seen in a while. To me, it's so bad that it is hard to tell if it's just poor coaching, or players that just don't possess even an average football IQ. Hopefully it's the former and a new staff can have them ready to compete once they find a decent QB (hopefully a transfer that can give Haskins a season to adjust). If it's the latter, I fear a housecleaning will be necessary and it might be another 3 years before this is a bowl-bound team.
