Must be nice to be a teacher. ;)

Kids collect germs and viruses from all over, then they bring them in to you as a present...

Thanksgiving gives them a chance to collect them from out-of-town relatives...

I work in retail... it's not that different. Especially since both offices I manage are in buildings that host 5,000+ employees.

So, what do you actually do all day... I have no idea...

Must be nice to be a teacher. ;) I've worked through a really bad sinus infection this week. Almost out of the weeds though.

Yep, no grind here. :D

I'll send you a PM in January if that's cool.

Sure, that's fine... I'll be happy to help if I can...

Much made about O'Day getting nearly $8M per yr for 4 yrs. But O's pay only $11M first 2 yrs. Conceivably could b traded w $20M still owed

I forget... how much money do teams get from the national TV deal... and when does that money start to show up?

Wow, that's really backloaded.

Between backloaded deals and deferred money, they are either on a tight budget this year or they are really setting themselves up to spend big on some players.

Interesting.   Combine that with the rumor that some of CD's offer was deferred money it makes you wonder about the cap # of this years payroll.

Heyward is gone now, I expect CD to get pursued by Cards.   I would like to see the Orioles pursue Cespedes and Upton hard now.

Fan Fest tomorrow could get exciting if they make some noise.

They might have done that with Davis, but I don't see them doing that with an external FA.

I just don't see them being able to lure a top player that way.

Gordon makes a ton of sense for StL.

Typical Cardinals signing.

Think SF ends up out bidding STL for Gordon.

He makes sense there too.

Which would probably put Davis in StL.

Yes... Friday I believe. Of course, you'd have to stop fantasizing about trading Britton for a few moments to notice. ;)
