Can you be top 3 and be a defensive liability who struggles to create your own shot?

First off, he's actually a decent defender in most situations, but yeah, he's not good when switched on LeBron James, most point guards aren't. Westbrook isn't generally a good defender. And Pete actually mentioned Lillard and Harden who usually suck defensively.

He doesn't struggle to create his own shot either.

This is quite the overreaction to the Finals. Look at his body of work over the past two years. Clear top 3 player. This shouldn't even be in the discussion.

The whole playoffs were generally pretty poor for him...injuries did have something to do with it but he was abused, in many ways, and his shortcomings came to light.

And btw, Kyrie dominated him too..not just LeBron.

In terms of when they were guarding each other one on one, Steph easily got the better of Kyrie.

And if putting up 25.1, 5.8, and 5.5 is pretty poor for someone, then you know he's pretty damn good.

BTW, the next story down after that excellent video on the block is LeBron saying he has no plans on leaving:

"I love it here in Cleveland. I have no intentions of leaving," James told ESPN's Dave McMenamin during the Cavaliers' championship parade. "There are some technicalities to take care of I'll leave up to my agent. That's right from the horse's mouth."

Broussard also reporting he is staying.

Durant is the one leaving.

Nickle probably shouldn't watch Simmons' premier episode.

Or maybe he should.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

He'd love Barkley's opinions.

Talk about a bad look. Taking Simmons opinions seriously is a horrible look. Anyway, as I've said before, Chuck is brilliant.

I know most have moved on, but I just read the Posnanski article on Cleveland winning (he's a Cleveland native) and it's very good.

I finally watched it..as good as he is as a writer and on the podcasts, Simmons just isn't good on TV.

I don't care even a little about Deflategate, but Affleck is a lunatic. Pretty funny bit though.
