There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

Trotz going with Weber today instead of Chorney (for the injured Orpik). Kind of surprising as Weber was pretty ineffective down the stretch.
Come on Pedro, no joke about this?
And goal!!!
Yes, I'm watching hockey! Go Caps!

In the collapse against Halak and the Habs, Caps scored three goals on 134 shots in the three losses.
Before the Backstrom goal, the Caps had one score on their last 94 shots in two and a half games.
Would like to get this win and maybe heat up again vs. PIT.

How often do teams fail to score with a 5-3 advantage?
Average on a power play is about 18-20% scoring. I imagine on a 5 on 3 it might be the about the same because 5 on 3s are often much short than 2:00. They also clear the puck immediately on defense, not really trying for shorthanded goals down by two men and risking turnovers

With that, the fact that Philly is 1 for 22 on PPs in this series is a testament to the Caps penalty kill. Ridiculously good.

Feel a lot more comfortable if the Caps could get one more in the third.
