3 out of 10. Game could go either way. Like them at home. But one side of the ball cant be completely inept. Have to play solid all around to win this one. No pass rush with Dalton's quick release spells trouble if they dont jam the receivers and disrupt the timing. Joe seems to struggle mightily against Cincy for some reason.

Like our chances aginst PIT more. Pretty much toss X's and O's out the window and go to battle. Ravens can score on that defense. No matter the players its a hard fight for both teams.

Like them with their backs against the wall at home. Don't like the matchups at all. Gotta find a way to disrupt Dalton. Don't let that mediocre piece get into a rhythm.

So Monroe didn't practice the last two days... looks like Hurst will again be starting.

I can't remember having this little confidence in team winning at home against the Bengals.

Hope they play well and pull it out and I'm just being a worrier.  That's why my friends call me whiskers.

Interesting tendency I noticed from the Bengals offense. I don't have the exact numbers but anecdotally, when Dalton is under center, they run the ball about 80% of the time. And the times when they do throw with Dalton taking the snap from under center, it's play action. I didn't see many straight 5-7 step drops and throws. It's almost like what the read option did for RGII his rookie year and Kaepernick in his rookie year; create easy, quick reads and open looks, while not forcing your QB to stand in the pocket and dissect the defense.

I know teams are always self scouting and looking to break tendency but this is another way, IMO, to protect Dalton from turnovers. Properly executed play action often results in easier throws and potentially wide open receivers. Also, play action passes are often 1 read and either deliver the ball or throw it away.

I think it's 50/50. Normally I'll give us some kind of advantage playing at home.

Only thing the Ravens got last week up front was the late penalty on Jernigan. Timmy, Williams, and Davis need to do work today.

CJ and Jimmy are the new leaders of this defense. Can they elevate the play of others?

Rest of the year is about defending the home field, and doing damage in the AFC North. The Baltimore Ravens backed in a corner = dangerous.

Let's go!

Seriously? No Babin again and Monroe continues the longest concussion protocol in league history.

Wow what a clusterfuck to get in. Longest lines I've ever seen to get in.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Steve Beuerlein calling the game on CBS.... says Harbaugh got mad at him earlier this week, when he he asked if this was a must win game. Harbaugh didn't want to label this game as such.

Jeff Zrebiec
Perriman just pulled up lame in end zone trying to get a deep ball.

WR coach Bobby Engram going to see Perriman who is bent over behind the end zone. Now he's walking with a more obvious limp.

Perriman ran a post route and pulled up as he tried to kick it in extra gear. Wasn't happening. Now, he's trying to walk it off.

Blerg.  Wasn't expecting him for Pittsburgh Thursday. Hope this doesn't delay him back for Cleveland on the 11th.
