Agree about taking control early.

We've seen how teams can look ugly in the first game. Richmond Top 20 FCS... they will play with pride early...  you want to get out on them immediately.

Hills being the starter surprised me. I do think all 3 QBs will play this year, but it's Hills job to start. He had the best Summer, let's see it.

Edsall has said repeatedly he likes the WR's.  Agreed there is good potential there even with the departures, but want to see immediate production.  Etta-Tawo, the Jacobs Brothers, Culmer, Moore, Ulmer?...  spread the ball around, and end the day with multiple guys feeling good about themselves.

MD could not run for anything last year. The RB's are fine, the line sucked. Should have a physical advantage at the line of scrimmage. Run the ball.  Get Ross and Brown going.

I'd love to see Ulmer, and Lane involved with the return games... I really don't want to see Likely back there, especially against a team like Richmond. If you want to use Likely against better opponents, okay.

There is talent at TE...  they can't be ghosts again this year. Believe Isaacs is out today, but Hayward, Edwards, Gray... let's go.

Defensively...  one of things I'm most looking forward to is Ngakoue, and Aniebonam getting some pass rush. Both having sacks today would be great.

The Secondary looks solid...  would like to see the LB's running around well today. Carter Jr, Brooks, Ashiru.

Seen some poor tackling in early games.  Would be good to see MD wrap up.

Was moving pretty quickly... Hills slows things up.

Etta-Tawo drops a 1st down.   What we've seen from him previous... capable of great plays, drops easy ones.

Love the helmets and tops bit the pants ruin it. Awful look with that stripe near the knees.

My favorite helmet... red looks good too... don't mind the stripe.

Unable to connect with Goins in the end zone.

Rough throw by Hills there. Gotta make that play. That's pretty bad. Hopefully just jitters.

Get a defensive stop, and get back to offense.

Ross and Brown combined for 38 yards on the series... good to see, nice holes from the line.  Hills 0 for 3... though Atta-Tawo did not help him on the one.

Not a great opening drive from Hills, but Ross and Brown looked good running the ball. Intrigued to see this defensive series
