Cam Newton or Sam Bradford?

Newton. Im not sold that Bradford is all of a sudden a good quarterback based on scheme change. Hes never been a viable option, and people are drafting him like crazy this year. Could be wrong, but I dont buy it until he proves it.

He was great in college, and showed some real promise in STL a bit...the problem is his line was so bad he couldn't stay upright and then the injuries killed him. Its not like he was just a healthy failure for 4 years and went to a new system. That's where the hype is coming from at least.

I'd lean towards Newton despite the lack of weapons.

Maclin or Aghlor?
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Well Week 1 went about as perfect as you can hope. Romo/Jennings had a great 2nd half to give me a 108-101 win with Hyde still to play tonight.

More importantly, I saw some real nice games from my bench guys including Eifert, John Brown and Stevie Johnson. I think Eifert is going to be great this year so I'm hoping someone who needs TE help bites and trades RBs to me for either him or Jimmy Graham.

Beckham and Bryant provided nothing for me last night, so my chances of a W are long unless I get a big game from Devonta Freeman(not likely).  Worse is losing Bryant for 4-6 weeks.  In 4 weeks Dal plays NE, but the following week they have a bye.  I'm calling it now they keep him out threw the Bye which means no Bryant until October 25th, ugh.

Trade Jimmy Graham while someone may still think he's clearly the #2 TE.  He's not anymore.

Going with Doug Martin.

Should've listened to the smarter half of this thread :)

Eh.  I ended up winning 136-93 so no biggie.

So is Peyton Manning done?

Tough to say after just one game but he didn't look great.  Slower release, slower to get rid of the ball (was sacked, what, four time?) and zero downfield arm strength.

He did nothing with elite weapons. I think Kubes might be intentionally limiting him though, and Jimmy was tight on Demaryius when Pees actually let him play up and use modern coverage techniques.

Two of Ivory, Spiller, Crowell, Coleman (RB/FLEX)

Wheaton or Garçon at WR, or both with the same FLEX as above

PPR

Hope you went Ivory over Coleman.

I think I was wrong by 7 pts about Martin over Morris for Pedro.

I did but Coleman looks promising moving forward. Good call.

I keep missing this thread. I think there are two of them. We should probably dedicate this one to start em sit advice. Sean, I hope you went Maclin. I wouldn't have started Agholor with all the other weapons on Philly, and being a rookie.

Looks like Newton and Bradford were about the same.

Anyway, for this week, do I roll with Edelman against a tough Buffalo defense, in Buffalo where they stymied Luck, and Rex plays the Pats tough. Or do I go V-Jax, who got 12 targets last week, but only caught four balls. He's in a likely shootout/garbage time numbers against a poor Saints passing D. If Evans misses this game, he should see a ton of targets again too.

Also, In one league my QBs are Tannehill and Flacco. Both didn't do anything, so I'm trying to add Mariota with a waiver claim. I also have Owen Daniels and Richard Rodgers at TE, both who did next to nothing, so I want to add Sefarian-Jenkins with a waiver claim. I'm leaning towards giving ASJ the higher priority because Flacco should have a big day against the Raiders, then he's usually worth starting at home where he plays better the next week. Mariota would be a just in case he blows up, in which I could try to trade him, or Tannehill. But I think I will only be able to get one of these guys. I'm number 5, so I might not get either. Am i right to go for ASJ first then Mariota if I'm lucky?

I'd put the higher waiver claim in on Mariota, dropping Flacco.

I don't think Seferian-Jenkins is going to be an every-week back-end TE1, he's more of a streaming option (like Daniels).  So I'd be content aking whoever has the best matchup of the rest of the guys available (Heath Miller available for this week, I like him a lot until Bell and eventually Bryant are back?).

Mariota has big-time potential.  Worst case is he's as good of a streaming option as Flacco is.  Best case is he's a legit QB1.

I also forgot to mention that I also own Evans. Not sure when he comes back it would be smart to start two Bucs players relying on Winston.

Would you roll with Edelman @ BUF? Or V-Jax @ NO?

Until Winston shows he's capable of not being a complete trash bag I have a hard time trusting TB WRs.

On the other hand, Tampa Bay is going to be playing from behind often, which certainly lends itself to throwing the ball, and they've got two big WRs to toss it up to.

I like the New Orleans matchup too.
