I actually think it's a bit overrated. I think that people give it a lot more credit than it deserves because it was exceptionally PC to do so. It's an enjoyable album, nonetheless. I'd never go so far as to say that it sucks. But it's not the masterpiece that some people made it out to be. It wouldn't be in my top 100 albums.
Funny, though, when I saw the title of the thread I couldn't tell if you were referring to the album or the Elvis shrine. I've never been to the latter, so I can't comment on that, although I expect it almost has to be overrated.
