Is Maxx Williams injury still undisclosed? Any progress from Means?

Sounds like KO, Monroe and Webb all practiced today.

Time to start game planning and using practice to get healthy but prepared. It feels like one of those years we could use an early bye week...

Thanks, I've been out of touch and definitely missed that one. I'm going to take a closer look if I get the chance at Beyer, who seems to be the Undrafted guy that has a shot to make the team right now.

Ravens make 5 more moves to get to 77 players.

After making eight cuts earlier Monday, the Ravens placed four players on injured reserve -- safety Matt Elam (biceps), cornerback Chris Greenwood(hamstring), linebacker Steven Means (groin) and tight end Allen Reisner(ankle) -- and put offensive tackle Darryl Baldwin (undisclosed) on the reserve Non-Football Injury list, according to ESPN Insider Field Yates. These designations ends all of their seasons.

Means going on IR goes back to the discussion we were having about the lack of depth at pass rusher.

Hope the 2 "old guys" stay healthy.

I think we need to face the fact that our depth this year just isn't going to be elite anywhere.

We're already short at WR, OLB, ILB, CB, T. We're solid at G/C, DT, DE, RB, S, TE. But even a big injury to any one of those positions will hurt pretty badly. Then again, that's the reality of the NFL. We need our all of our old guys and our young guys to stay healthy.

Also, I think people underestimate how much one of Suggs OR Dumervil could do without the other. Both are still very good. And my first glance at the first quarter of the game against Washington, both looked like they were ready to play this year. Also, we're going to get more pass rush from the middle of the field if you ask me. Upshaw playing 65% plus of the snaps wouldn't really be the world's biggest drop off. It's certainly no J. Smith to Melvin drop off.

We're going to sustain a big injury to one really good player somewhere this year in a place that the depth isn't that good. Let's all just pray it's not Joe.

Pitta to PUP list, waive 2 to get to 75 limit.

Baltimore placed tight end Dennis Pittaicon-article-link.gif on the physically unable to perform list, as Head Coach John Harbaugh previously indicated would happen. The Ravens also waived guard/tackle De’Ondre Wesley and tackle Darryl Baldwinicon-article-link.gif.
