I think the toughest challenge is trying to catch the bottle and frisbee if someone does hit it. If they hit the pvc, it's not too hard for one person to snag the frisbee and the other the bottle. But when it's a direct hit on the bottle, it's a whole different story.
Very fun game though.

Here's the basic idea...
Setup:
Two teams of two, much like cornhole, except you play on the same side as your partner.
Two 4' tall pvc pipes are placed in the ground about the same distance as cornhole boards would be, or probably a little further, or whatever. You can stick some sort of stake in the ground to slide the pvc pipe over to secure it, but what we usually do is sharpen down the bottom ends to wedge them in the ground.
An empty beer bottle should be balanced on top of each pvc pipe.
You also need a frisbee.
I've played a similar game but with even less equipment. It's just two 4' or so garden stakes, like the flimsy green ones, and some solo cups. Stick the stakes in the ground just wider than the width of the frisbee, and the cups upside down on the tops, and another of the same setup where the other team stands like 20-30 feet away or whatever. Teams take turns throwing the frisbee, if you hit the stake, the cup flies off (how hard you throw and how high or low you hit really varies how fast and far the cup flies), if it hits the ground it's a point but if the other team can catch it before it hits the ground it is no point. If the frisbee goes through the two stakes without touching, it's 3 points, but the team can also catch the frisbee to nullify the points.
Play with a beer in one hand to make it more difficult. It's a lot of fun.

If anyone wants any tips on making your own sets, I'm currently flush with lessons learned!

Anyone KanJam before? That's a great back yard game. https://www.kanjam.com/how-to-play/
Yeah, KanJam is another good one. Great for on the beach since it's pretty easy to transport.

I'm pretty much unbeatable at cornhole now. Perfected the pancake throw.
Just wanted to let you know.

I made some cornhole boards with my dad the last few weeks. One is an OCMD flag and the other is a MD flag. hand drawn and painted. Was a lot of fun and they're getting coats of poly this week so they'll be ready to play this weekend.
Tried to attach images...too big. Tried to re-size them. No luck.

I made these guys a couple years ago. Bought the boards already built, painted them myself. Figured it would take about two hours, tops... 11 hours later.... Lol.

Best luck Ive had with attaching photos is to take a screen shot of the photo. Take the screen shot file and drag it into imgur. (For some reason imgur doesnt upload photos for me. But if I drag a screenshot into the site it does). Then click on it to open it in a new tab. Copy and past the link in the photo button (??) here on the board.
I'm not great with tech but I hope that helps.
