Can't ask for more... nice start from Jimenez... 3 bombs... and Baltimore across the chest. All great to see!

Yup. Throwing it across the diamond in his head right now. You could see him short arm that one. Luckily, it was on target and a relatively easy pick for Davis.
Another poor throw by Machado though.

Yes... it's starting to get a little into concerned territory for me. It's mid-May... can't claim rust anymore, IMO.

If a traditionally great hitter is in a 10-60 slump, do you get overly concerned?

Anywho, I'm really not that worried yet... but it's a little more than simple in my radar at this point.

I just said "starting to get into a little concerned territory"... so no, I wouldn't be overly concerned. Anywho, I'm really not that worried yet... but it's a little more than simple in my radar at this point.
It's a slump going back to mechanics.
It's not like he has the yips. It's nothing.
It's a minor annoyance at this point.

Maybe that chip on his shoulder has him a little bit off-balance... which would be another good reason for losing it...

Hi Shack. You told me a few weeks ago there was nothing concerning about Manny's errors. Yet, he has continued to make errors, or plays like tonight that would be errors without teammates picking him up. What gives ?

I think it's gotten into his head, like a batting slump does... he's got throwing-slump snakes in his head...
I suggest he humble-up some... if he does, maybe they'll just crawl out of his ears and leave him alone...
He'll get over it, we just don't know when... in the meantime, it's not like he's terrible... it's just that he's being not-quite-magnificent...
