Thomas Heurtel has played well in place of Parker who has not played... seems like he is being rested....  France had a chance, US able to do just enough to get the win.

100-97.

I'd like to see George on the floor more.

K doesn't look pleased.

US players definitely look like they care... play hard at times... not particularly smart.   Don't move the ball well enough, and give up too many easy layups.

Klay Thompson with a nice game after struggling in the Olympics to date.

Giving up 97 to France is embarrassing.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

France is pretty talented, but I definitely agree that even if Parker was on the floor (and he wasn't) the US shouldn't be letting up 97 against them...  the defense should be able to shut teams down.

A lot of struggle for this team.

They definitely could lose in the medal round.

Offensively, it's too much iso...  especially when they need a basket, and feel a little pressure.

Everyone one of your teammates is capable... move the ball.

Defensively, they play well in spurts, but the effort (or at-least focus) isn't always there. Teams have been able to regularly drive the lane anytime Jordan isn't on the floor.

Sounds like an actual NBA team.

Or most college teams without the part about everyone being capable. ;)

Was just thinking of an ideal roster if everyone was available.

CP3
Curry
LeBron
Durant
Jordan

Kawhi
Melo
Davis
Russ
Klay

Then two relatively selfless players that wouldn't mind sitting out in the close games unless there was foul trouble or injuries. Off the top of my head, Tyson Chandler and Demarre Carroll.

US and Spain the semis tomorrow at 2:30pm...

Spain blew past France yesterday 92-67.... Spain has seemingly got past their earlier struggles, and steadily improved during the tournament.

Serbia beat Croatia and will face Australia in the other semi.

I missed it... did France have the full benefit of Tony Parker?
